F.A.Q.

There’s not really a “one size fits all” solution for bathrooms. Cost is determined by size, quality of finishes, layout / design and scope. We may be moving plumbing around, removing 2” of cement and metal from the walls and floors, etc. There are so many factors, but a basic 8×5 bathroom with a tub/shower surround typically starts around $10k and can double or triple depending on scope and selections.
Personally, I spend a ton of time in the bathroom. I love taking a 30 minute shower and feeling the sense of calm and disconnect that a well designed and functional bathroom can bring. Don’t underestimate the power of the shower.
We sound like a broken record across the site, but so much is dependent to each specific project. Bathrooms usually take 4-6 weeks with inspections, sub contractor scheduling, material arrivals etc. Other contractors may tell you they can do it for faster and for less money, but prepare yourself for change orders and delays to the schedule. We’ve been doing this for years and a well built bathroom with all the features takes time.
One day bathroom fitters sell speed and we’ve seen some of the low quality work they pump out. That is not what we do and it is not what we are selling.
Before hammers get swung, we make sure that everything is planned out to ensure things run smoothly when we get going. We identify the specific products we’ll be using, from tile to plumbing fixtures to glass options. In order to avoid mistakes or cutting walls open down the road, we pre-plan every detail so there is proper framing in the walls, the plumbing penetrations have to be determined so they fit into the vanity…
